Due to the extreme shortage of N95 masks worldwide, the FDA approved equally effective KN95 respirator masks from Australia, Brazil, Europe, Japan, Korea and Mexico on March 24, but had left China off the list until now.   Adding KN95 masks from China from the list will at least temporarily relieve some stress in the supply chain to make more N95 rated masks available to the market.  The major caveat is the importance of NIOSH or FFP2 air filtration certification.
